Before I give you an update on Galactic50: A photography project, I would like to say thank you to everyone who followed me this past summer. It was a long trip and your support was needed and very well appreciated. The amazing love everyone showed all my pictures gave me the motivation I needed to complete this epic journey. Now onto the update. In my last post, I had started my journey back east. I had multiple routes planned for the way home, to try and beat the weather.

My final week in Colorado, began with a short but much needed visit from my Mother. The moon was full and there wasn’t much night shooting to be done. So the timing worked out perfectly for a brief break. Being alone on this trip has been hard, but spending a few days with the greatest Mom on the planet will always lift anyone’s spirits.

After a long night at the dunes, we woke up early and headed out. Our next stop was a place I have been longing to see. Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs has been on my list ever since I moved to Colorado. Located in Colorado Springs, Garden of the Gods is a magical place.
